Welcome to the official website of the Lt William Glover Farrow Squadron, hosted by the University of South Carolina's AFROTC Detachment 775 Flying Gamecocks! Here you can find plenty of useful information about our squadron, along with its latest happenings and developments!
Lying in the heart of Area III, the Lt William Glover Farrow Squadron is one of the eleven Arnold Air Society squadrons spanning across the Carolinas and Georgia. Founded in 1955, we are named in honor of Lt William Glover Farrow, a USC alumnus and Army Air Corps B-25 pilot who participated in the Doolittle Raid during World War II.
As dedicated members of AAS, we strive to uphold the ideals of professionalism, honor, service, and advocacy of aerospace power. We are the innovators and the trailblazers, always looking for the most efficient, creative ways to accomplish the mission at hand. To us this is an act, not a habit.
Our motto? "Excellence is the expectation, not the exception."
